About Max

Twenty-five years on both sides of the table.

Max started in management consulting at KPMG and Coopers & Lybrand, then moved into enterprise software as a business leader at Motive and Hubspan. In 2008 he founded 12Sided.com, and in 2012, he co-founded SuperCritical Technologies, where the team commercialized supercritical CO₂ power platforms with a footprint a fraction of conventional technology—designed to deliver electricity generation, heating, cooling, energy storage, and power peaking.

Today Max advises technology companies through Kanoros, invests as an angel, and is an Advisor at KILOGEAR. He's based in Seattle, holds degrees from Michigan and Washington, and writes occasionally about cloud, baseball, and the odd stair-climb up a skyscraper.
